Do I need JAMB to study at Caleb University?
+
Yes. Full-time undergraduate admission requires a valid JAMB UTME score with Caleb University chosen as your first-choice institution, meeting the cut-off mark for your programme. If you are unable to sit JAMB, you can still earn a Caleb degree through our Distance Learning Programme, which does not require JAMB.
What O'level results do I need?
+
Five SSCE credit passes (WAEC, NECO or GCE) obtained in not more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics, plus the specific subjects required for your chosen programme.
Can I gain Direct Entry and skip 100 level?
+
Yes. With two A'Level passes, IJMB or JUPEB, an OND/HND at the required credit, or NCE in a relevant field, you may be admitted into 200 level through Direct Entry. Direct-entry candidates also register with JAMB for Direct Entry.
How do I apply, and is there an application fee?
+
Apply online through the Caleb University admissions portal and pay the application fee. You can save your progress and return at any time before submitting.
How and when will I get my admission decision?
+
Once your JAMB and O'level results are verified and you meet your programme requirements, your admission is processed and successful candidates receive an official admission letter with instructions to accept the offer and pay the acceptance fee.
Can I apply if I sat O'level in two different sittings?
+
Yes. Caleb University accepts O'level results from a maximum of two sittings (e.g. WAEC + NECO, or two WAEC sittings). The combined credits must include English, Mathematics, and Physics.
I have an OND/HND — can I skip the first year?
+
Yes, through Direct Entry. OND in Computer Science / Computer Engineering (Upper Credit minimum), NCE in Computer Science (Merit minimum), or HND in a relevant computing field (Lower Credit minimum) qualifies you to enter at 200-level. You'll also need to register for JAMB Direct Entry.
Is there an interview, and what is it like?
+
Yes. After you pay the application fee, you'll be scheduled for a 20-minute online video interview with the Admissions Committee. You'll be asked about your motivation, prior background, and your plans for managing the workload alongside other commitments. Have your original documents on hand for verification.
